Lady of the Lake

Lady of the Lake

Beautiful, size-inclusive clothing made from recycled saris. Discover one-of-a-kind skirts, trousers and dresses that prove sustainable fashion can be joyful, flattering and affordable.

While travelling in India, the founder of Lady of the Lake fell in love with the riot of colour, pattern and craftsmanship found in traditional saris. Determined to celebrate those textiles responsibly, she began sourcing pre-loved saris and turning them into new garments—giving exquisite fabrics a second life and creating pieces that feel as good to wear as they look.

What makes Lady of the Lake unique?

  • Recycled sari fabrics: Every garment is cut from pre-loved saris—each one has a story, and no two pieces are the same.
  • Size-inclusive fits: Designed to flatter every body. Whether you’re petite, tall, curvy or anywhere in between, there’s a style to make you feel fantastic.
  • Playful colour with easy wearability: Bold prints and jewel-tone palettes invite you to experiment with colour—without compromising comfort or practicality.

Why customers love them

  • Thoughtfully made, beautifully finished pieces—at prices far lower than top-end designer Indian fashion.
  • Confidence-boosting silhouettes: Soft, swishy skirts and dresses that move with you and elevate everyday dressing.
  • One-off finds: Because each sari is different, your new favourite piece will be uniquely yours.

Lady of the Lake sources materials from small, independent businesses in India, helping to support low-income families through fair purchasing. By upcycling textiles, every purchase also reduces waste and extends the life of quality fabric—style with a lighter footprint.
